This special fund is for funding research projects on clinical medicine and clinical application.

1. Intended recipients: medical professionals specializing in clinical medicine and clinical application.

2. Eligibilities: people eligible for the award should work on innovative, creative and break-through researches.

3. Amount of Fund: the amount of the fund may vary from RMB5000 to RMB50000 depending on the research projects.

4. Appraisal and Management: Applicants submit their applications to WMSF. The Project Review Unit of WMSF reviews the applications and will forward the eligible ones to the Academic Unit for further appraisal. After being appraised, the qualified applications will be sent to the WMSF Council for approval. If the application is approved by 2/3 or more of the members of the Council, WMSF will sign a funding contract with the applicant. The funding department of WMSF appropriates the fund on annual basis. And the fund winner must report to WMSF on the project progress on time on the annual basis. In the event that the project cannot be completed on time, WMSF will terminate the contract and the funding as well. A completion report must be sent to WMSF after the project is finished.
