Wu Mengchao Medical Science Achievement Award:
Wu Mengchao Medical Science Achievement Award is conferred on medical professionals who have made significant contributions to the medical science through their inventions, creations, or discoveries.

Wu Mengchao Medical Science Achievement Award is implemented every two years and the winner will be selected by the judge panel of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. After being approved by the Council of Wu Mengchao Medical Science Foundation, the winner selected by the judge panel will be presented with the award and the certificate at the award ceremony held at a proper time. There will be only one winner and the award is RMB200000.

Eligibilities:
An eligible candidate should have made remarkable achievements in the medical field and had published several pieces of high-level academic thesis, which contained research findings at a leading level in the international community; and he or she should also have been one of the top two winners for the second or above prize of a national achievement award (a national achievement award shall refer to the Natural Science Award, Invention Award and National Science and Technology Improvement Award) or the winner of the first prize of a science and technology improvement award at the military, provincial or ministry level.

Application for Award:
The Nomination Committee of WMSF nominates the candidates and submits related materials.
